Why I Tutor

As an engineering student with ADHD, I learned to value how everyone processes information differently. Matching students with strategies that fit their style allows them to thrive! My experience navigating engineering taught me how powerful personalized learning can be, and I bring that same approach to my sessions.
Why I Tutor

One Student of mine...

loved biology but struggled with structure and organization. We built a simple weekly plan to start making notes of what didn't make sense during class to go over each week. Soon she felt prepared for class each week, her grade improved, and feeling genuinely confident!
Student Success

I realized I loved teaching

students during my senior year of High School. My AP Chemistry teacher needed time away for their health, so I stepped in to help out as a TA for the Honors class. Running labs and explaining concepts to classmates made a tough subject interactive and fun. Seeing their excitement during experiments convinced me this is what I wanted to do.
Origin Story

Beyond Homework

Building long-term success by completing assignments, while also:

Filling gaps from previous classes
Encouraging questions and curiosity
Connecting to the 'why' behind lessons
Previewing future concepts
Goals

Individual Attention

Some need concept maps and real-world examples; others need structure, pacing, and confidence before tackling harder problems. We build a plan that fits their goals and adjust week by week based on what's working.

Whether it's executive-function support, test-taking strategy, or deeper conceptual gaps, the approach is always personalized.
